I'd be willing to bet that this (or lack of) is a key cog in his issues.

nobody is saying he shouldn't be held fully accountable under the law. but there are likely hundreds of other Tylers out there in the making right now. Putting this one in jail doesn't solve the problem. I'm at a loss on this one though, he is too young to be radicalized by cable news. Internet socials are a wild wild west of hatred and propaganda, but how do you approach cleaning that up without touching on censorship?

Nah. Always blame the person responsible.

Though the social justice narratives are absolutely contributors.

We need to take a hard look at video gaming in this country.

I realize there are normal people enjoying video games. There is also a culture there that can be very harmful to youths. Some of those games can desensitize a gullible disturbed kid to what violence is. Most mass shooters turn out to be gamers.

You got a point. As much as we want to hate this Tyler clown (and we should to that too), hating what created him might be more productive.

He’s as good as dead anyway

Our anger and effort would be better spent on the propaganda machine

I'm MAGA through and through. I bleed red white and blue. I watch NEWSMAX, Real Americas Voice and OAN. I listen to conservative podcasters. But I am never going to take a firearm and drive to a location where Jasmine Crockett or Adam Schiiff or Whoopie Goldberg are speaking with the intent to murder them. It's called self control and having a moral compass. I certainly do blame him. He had a choice.

I said most of the anger, not no anger

It was merely an analogy, perhaps not a very good one

horseshite. You and I are exposed to the same propaganda if we so desire but that doesn't make us a killer. It's up to the individual on how to receive and interpret that propaganda.

Did they catch that Propaganda dude you refer to? Didn't Tyler Robinson pull the trigger on the rifle that killed Charlie?

I say fry the bastard!

Plenty of people are liberal, hate Trump, and think the maga movement is bad for America…… if the reason Tyler murdered Charlie because of that, people would be getting sniped everyday. No my anger is at the shooter. The person who pulled the trigger.

Anger should be directed at both. There is moral guilt on the part of those who supplied the hateful rhetoric to him, but he alone bears the actual guilt because he pulled the trigger. If he acted with conspirators, they share his guilt.

Agreed. This is a lot bigger than one murderous twink. There will just be more of them if the root isn't identified and cut out

Sure, if the robot was self aware and capable of choosing whether or not to ignore programming.

This kid made a choice. May GOD have mercy on his soul, if it is right that He should do so. The remainder of his existence on this earth, will not at all be kind to him.

I went to college slightly leaning left and graduated conservative because of a lot of the bullshite professors and fellow students said during my 4 years.

Much of that thinking for myself and not going with the flow of my peers was instilled in me through my parents and the church I grew up in.

I believe this kid was failed at all levels.
