Never said otherwise, and I would love to withdraw from it and invest those finds privately but can't because I have to pay for someone else.

Well you have relied on fantasy for lots of your "arguments" in this thread.

I never said I lacked self interest in this argument, but my primary concern is an imploding economy, which this reckless government spending will create. This culture of entitlement and expectations of being bailed out by daddy government has created an untenable long term economic outlook.

No you straight up lied that it was my position. It is not.

That's all you guys can ever do. And it's just ignorance.

You've offered no rational, comprehensive alternative.

You've offered vague policy statements without any detail, allegedly stated by Trump. Reminds me of how Mexico paid for Trump's wall.

Just look at the rise in cost-spending as a % of GDP over time. That's going to destroy our economy moving forward
So you're worried about the economy going forward (your economy) while not giving a darn about the economy of those that came before you. That's call hypocrisy.

Clearly I didn't expect you to understand the bigger picture impact of the words you're copying, just like you can't wrap your head around this discussion.

You gave a bad argument (your words) based on bad rhetoric (your logic).

I took that logic and extrapolated it, and you're upset that your logic was shitty and trying to run away from it by claiming a Strawman, when one doesn't exist.

Your lack of logic and inability to even understand how to use logical fallacies is telling of your inability to discuss this topic, broadly.

That's not Trump's plan.

Trump wants to end FICA! While paying you back for what you paid in.

Now how is he going to pay you back if nobody is paying FICA?

This is where SlowMo steps in and says LEFTIST!!! CAN'T BE DONE.. BLAH BLAH BLAH!

My economy moving forward is screwed because their economy was based on credit card spending they'll leave for me to pay.

So, in addition to ending FICA, what is the plan?

Like I said before, you should shy away from the pompous/pretentious stuff.

So you are worried about you and yours, while disregarding those that came before you. You could care less about the old, as long as your future is better.

Like I said above, I'm not disregarding anything. Their debt-fueled economy is irrelevant to the discussion of moving forward, where my generation and Gen Z will have to pay off the debts older generations used to prop up their economy and living standards while dealing with the economic fallout prior generations used debt to push off.

No, it was politicians stealing from the lockbox and leaving an IOU. The problem is politicians, not those that paid in. Democrat politicians, that I would argue you vote for.

Cool. That debt fueled those old economies. Now younger generations have to pay that debt.

I don't see people complaining about politicians injecting all that money to make the economy you lived in seem better.

Like Trump? The biggest spender over 4 years in history?

What if all these positive poll numbers are put out to make everyone complacent and knock the enthusiasm down a notch? I don't believe in poll numbers. That number is easily manipulated..

Long sentences to say "I can't think outside the box and am ignorantly going to state a position that you didn't have BUT need to feel like I accomplished something"

I think involving your "feels" in voting is what is going to give us either President Newsom or Weekend at Biden's 2, because theres no logic to supporting Trump at this point.

Polls like this are pointless because DeSantis hasn't released a platform, hasn't debated, and is still not familiar enough for 70-80% of people to have even formulated a meaningful opinion about him either way yet.
