Turkey will be even cheaper the day after Thanksgiving.

I'll usually pick up two and put them in the chest freezer for later. 60 cents a pound or less. Sometimes free with minimum purchase.

But I've been assured that food costs are so high now, eating is almost a luxury.

One of our resident progressives told us that groceries were up 30, 40, 50% in a year.

For people who need an idea for leftovers...Turkey is better in chicken and sausage gumbo than chicken.

Winn Dixie has Honeysuckle brand turkeys for .48 cents a lb. I bought 4
