More homophobia from the Left, this time aimed at Lindsey Graham

Many on social media were not amused and derided Handler’s joke as homophobic, tired, and lazy.
“Not sure homophobic insults are the cleverest means of attacking opponents… Yikes.,” wrote one Twitter user.
As for Graham -- he doesn't care what Handler has to say.

If she were as tolerant as the left claims they are, she would have been praising him for it, if she really thought that was the case. But she didn't, so she was essentially calling him gay as an insult.

Maybe just maybe (since his sexuality is common knowledge) it was a joke about being a hypocrite, since one party is clearly more upset about gay marriage than the other. If a Televangelist like Tim Haggard preaches homosexuality is a sin for decades or is actively making the world a less inviting place for gays, and then gets busted with a male prostitute-- jokes on the subject aren't necessarily homophobic, more like they're poking fun at hypocrisy. Too nuanced?

As far as I know, Graham hasn't been on any anti-gay rants. Whether or not he is a closeted homosexual is speculation and irrelevant to your example of a gay preacher who preaches against being gay.
The point is this: if a Republican/Conservative public figure went on Twitter and said the same thing about a Democrat, they'd be crucified for being homophobic, whether they were making a "nuanced" joke or not.

Don’t be obtuse. She meant it as an insult to Graham. If it’s not an insult in her mind, why tweet that?
