Months after NN repeal, the internet is still fine, what happened to the sky screamers?

Haven’t seen any throttling between sites, the prices from my ISP are the same, and I’m enjoying gaming and streaming like before. I want to say the experience is actually a bit better.

But I thought the NN sky screamers here said we would be throttled into the Stone Age?

This is proof we didn’t need that burdensome federal regulation. Outside of places like leftist redditers and Dems in Congress, I don’t see anyone complaining about NN repeal. Thank you Mr. Pai.

Most are probably in the pile of bodies in the streets.

Dude, where have you been? I have been climbing over the millions of dead bodies in the street.

Street Sweeping Crews and Equipment have improved a lot in the new millennium/century. All those dead bodies got swept up very well leaving virtually no trace.

All the practice with the NN body cleanup has kept the streets clear over Tax Cuts and Travel bans too.

Next up is the Supreme Court Nom body cleanup.

Charter Spectrum sent me a new modem for no up charge to upgrade my speed from 60 Mbps to 200 Mbps.

They're trying to kill that many people? Wow. I'm socialist now!

Did y'all think there'd be noticeable differences overnight?

If so, that's moronic.

Point of order.
I believe all the bodies in the streets are due to the tax cuts.

Interesting that they want to increase your potential for more data use. Why do you think that is?

I mean the idgits made it sound like the world would immediately come to an end when NN was repealed. Companies were waiting to throttle speeds and screw the average user.

To think some people have been worried about Mark Dice getting removed, what were they thinking?

While I disagree with this as an ultimate conclusion, it doesn't matter for my point. Regardless of WHY they are dead and in piles in the streets, there they lie.

While competition is generally weak with ISPs, it still (mostly) exists. Unless illegal collusion occurs to agree on jacking up prices, if one ISP totally screws over their customers, the other one will be there to pick up the pieces (and revenue).

What is needed isn't more government regulation but making it easier for people to enter that market.

Who is more likely to cause piles of dead bodies: a corporation or a government?

Yeah, that's how these things usually play out right? I don't think anyone was expecting ISP's to drastically change their plans shortly after the decision was made.

But it’s not just overnight, it’s been months.

If they start screwing us the second they're legally allowed to, everyone will know what's going on and the outrage will be enough to get it repealed. So they wait a little for us to forget and slowly bleed us dry.

NN provides zero benefit to the consumer, so why would they bother spending millions lobbying to get rid of it if they're never going to do anything with it?

I don't get why people side with billionaires over themselves.

And how many people have died as a result?
