Worked for Hillary. However, remember the uproar when Liddy Dole, who was actually from North Carolina, moved back to NC and ran for the Senate? The reaction by the Democrats was hysterical, particularly from folks who were HRC supporters.

Not every instance of carpetbagging is inherently bad/detrimental, but this situation is exactly the type of thing that is bad for all the constituents involved, IMO.

We southerners would know all about carpetbaggers. People moving here from the NE and getting into office by other carpetbaggers voting them in and turning our states into " progressive" places from whence they came. They outnumber us now.
