He didn’t “destroy” anybody. He made a great statement that everyone should have to watch and understand, because it is very dangerous for the republic to let this episode pass without consequences. However, as soon as he actually began to ask questions he started reading them (probably for the first time and prepared by lightweight staffers). All talk.
