Districts should not be drawn based on race or sexual orientation!

This is about Supreme Court redistricting.

And let's be real. nearly 40% of the state is black. We are not going to disenfranchise them by making sure only white congressmen are elected

MS is a 3-1 Republican state. I don't see how you could create four safe GOP seats. You could create 4-0 is a landslide election...but in non-popular GOP years, this state could easily be a 2-2. Hell, we had a 3-1 Democratic seat in 2008; yes, two were conservatives bluedog Dems...but, I think this is a poor suggestion from Tater Tot.

Everything you just typed out is the reason why this should be done.

The governors of Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina need to do the same exact thing. If the Northeast can disenfranchise Republican voters, the Deep South should be able to do the same thing.

While we're at it, do away with popular majority for all State elections and make the winner need a majority of districts/ counties/ parishes something to stop population centers (like NOVA, Chicago, Atlanta, etc) from dictating how people hundreds of miles away shall live.

Picking up an extra congressional seat and sending that clown back to Jackson would be very satisfying.
And other than fish fries for his district, has done absolutely nothing for that district his entire time in the house. He doles out some money occasionally acting as though it is his but other than than, useless.

The gerrymandering domino effect should have been started in time for the Midterms. Shame on Indiana Republicans for cowering via some unrealistic, fake Muh Constitution Principle. The Filibuster is out and the Dems go all in if they win the Mids. Albeit Trump is likely to throw a wrench in the whole machine if that happens.

It’s going to include congressional districts if the VRA is gutted though. And yes, Mississippi will draw 4 red congressional districts.

We're already 6-1 Republican. The Dems here sold out their competitiveness in another district to guarantee a 65% Democrat district for Jim Clyburn.

Make it 7-0 like New England. Expedite the coming Civil War, I have my guns ready.
