Magnolias aren’t pure white, but rather a “cream” color that as it matures gradually turns a mocha brown. So, there’s that.

The yellow star is for the Indians. The Mississippi Choctaw Chief was on the commission and had that put on. Surprised there wasn't a black fist on the flag.

There were 11 states in the confederacy. The flag has 10 stars on each side of the gold star, making 11 from either direction. Racist.
