must be running out of candidates who he feels can handle the job.
Deep state doesn't mean they lack talent or ability.
but if it's true this is a swamp monster...then shame on Trump....you can't drain it if you keep hiring them...

The excerpt only describes him lobbying, and assumedly being supportive of, "legal" immigration for skilled workers. Trump has been in favor of that as well, what's the rub?

Trump hasn't drained the swamp. It's been status quo since he got elected.

President Trump was initially forced to let the RINOs, Ryan, McCain, Flake and McConnell, as well as many other RINOs, and the obvious Democrats, collude against him. At the beginning he had to play the hand he was dealt and progressively hope to improve it. Unfortunately, his advisers also prove to be swamp denizens and recommend the hiring of others of their ilk.
Upon the recommendation of those advisers, he selects a replacement for the troublesome individual, only to learn later that the replacement that was recommended to him was even more of a problem. Etc. Etc.

its because even today trump still cant think like a politician and making hires is the one area he has to think like a politician when doing it.
thats why he is hiring these guys, he looks at can they do the job? do they know the job? do they have the credentials to hit the ground running on day 1 and start working?
see, trump doesnt even ask himself if they would betray him and set him up and sabotage his agenda because he doesnt think sane normal people would do such things despite what he has gone through the last 3 years.
its the one main fault he has that he trusts people too much so he gets into trouble surrounded by traitors
