I see the judicial branch nominees quality going way down in the future.

As a millennial I don’t know anyone my age who has any aspirations to be in politics or be a judge. Especially not independents or conservative minded ones.

Hell I can’t think of hardly any that even understand the basics of our system. They just don’t care. Very scary.

Is this the same for y’all and your circle of aquaintences or is it just me?

I never could do it with my social media history.

Which brings up another point. Leftists controlling the narrative with political correctness and social media will mean you can’t have said anything controversial publicly ever if you’re on the right.

Millennials will grow up, just as boomers and Gen Xers.
All will be fine.
Common sense will prevail.

I do not believe boomers and xers ever voted for someone as stupid as Abrams or Gillum.

What do you do for a living?

And I don’t mean that in any kind of elitist way; it’s simply a political demographic issue. I’m an attorney; most of my friends are attorneys. I know quite a few people with political aspirations, simply because politicians tend to be attorneys. Judges are always attorneys.

I know about a half dozen milennial attorneys. One I feel confident will eventually be a judge, I could possibly see a second doing it.

I already know 1 person who ran for local office and know several more with aspirations. One I truly believe will be a State Rep eventually - dunno if he's willing to whore himself out enough to run for Congress.

Socialists were getting elected long before the new batch of socialists showed up.

And obviously, OP has never attended law school, where I can assure you that the first day of school you'll meet plenty of gunners who aspire to be politicians and judges.

Who I might add, are usually the fricking worst

Same. May change my tune in 10 or so years. But right now, no way. I suppose I would consider running for a local government role but even that is a mess in the current climate.

Well that settles it. RIP judicial branch.
