We knew we did it the day of… Trump should’ve never suggested anyone else… this is where he fails as a competent leader and communicator… can’t convey a coherent response to the American people

At least we admit our mistakes and don’t actively seek to put civilians in danger. Anyone who is or ever was thinking this could be done without 10,000+ dead civilians was under an illusion unfortunately.
I don't know what the original post was like... but I'm here (and on record) supporting this statement. I am heartbroken thinking the most innocent were killed, period.
But I'm also certain it isn't part of our strategy.

School was next to a few IRGC targets. It is unfortunate that the IRGC placed active assets near a school.
And there you go. Instead of outright denying/lying, etc, claim accountability and explain in detail the UNCLASS targeting process to include the legitimate military targets that were placed in close proximity to the school. Cite other examples near hospitals, mosque's, etc. We went through this in 2003. The administration's accountability and messaging are poor at best.

So no matter what happens from now on the only headlines will be about this story because it reflects negatively on Trump.
Most people already don't care about this story. Was it us? Maybe it was. Was it Israel? Maybe it was. Was it Iran? Maybe it was. Does that change anything? No.

I'm not one of those "if you didn't serve your opinion doesn't count" twats, but FFS if you're going to talk about stuff like this you ought to at least know some of the basics.
I agree. Which is why I will continue to tell people that is not a tomahawk missile. The attack profile is wrong. That is not the way tomahawks fly through the air. And there is at least one prior service in this thread who knows this but still pretends that it was our fault anyways.
People are divided on this issue based on what they want to believe. And the media isn't trustworthy. "Officials familiar with preliminary results."

and you know civilians are still going to be killed as collateral, but you still release the missile....how is that not actively putting civilians in danger ?
the point remains we do not target civilians

.just come out and say war is hell and people will die.
who are the idiots that need this explained to them?
MSM has been hoping this was our fault just as they love reporting the number of american soldiers killed and injured. I watched CNN for 5-10 minutes this morning and their narrative was about as anti american as you can get. Funny how they have a reporter in Tehran and state that they have been allowed to have final editorial say so on all reports from Tehran....like people are stupid enough to think the iranian regime would allow any negative reporting about iran in their country

Ok, shite happens during war.

I don't have to prove shite. BBC and NYT have video analysis indicating a tomahawk was used. NBC has images showing fragments bearing the markings of tomahawks. also, nobody else in trump admin besides trump is denying it.
Jeez. There is also video of an Iranian missile crapping out and coming back down on the city. It was posted on here.

The school was inside an IRGC compound.
I heard someone say that old satellite photos showed the school outside the compound. Then satellite photos showed the perimeter of the compound was changed to include the school within the compound.
It’s a tragedy but seems to be an honest mistake. I don’t believe the military would intentionally target a school.

Scratch all that and reverse it. It used to be a part of the base, but is not now.

No intellectually honest person is suggesting it was done maliciously.
The problem is Trump outright lying about it and showing that he doesn’t understand what he’s talking about.

You could tell Hegseth was nervous when Trump said it was Iran - Hegseth jumped right in and said it was under investigation.
Posted on 3/11/26 at 12:16 pm to msutiger
No shite, anyone who believes otherwise is deliberately ignorant.
Posted on 3/11/26 at 12:16 pm to rmnldr
Is this a preliminary judgement on Trump? Wait until all the facts come out.
Posted on 3/11/26 at 12:17 pm to msutiger
Of course the democrats would care more about Iranian kids than the American kids getting killed and kidnapped/raped by illegals

Which is more trustworthy: the NYT or Rolling Stone?
