Mike Tyson's Punch Out Diversity

Never really put much thought into how diverse the cast of Mike Tyson's Punch Out was. At that time, it was just a cool cast of characters. I feel like a similar situation today would feel forced and virtuous. Random thought of the day.

The characters were boxers but the feel was more wrestling which was very diverse

FUN FACT: though his appearance is obviously a play on a pro wrestler, Super Macho Man actually predates "Macho Man" Randy Savage's debut by a couple of years and that's NOT where they got the name from.
