He’s always been a Bush-era neocon, he’s just been able to camouflage himself to rise to the top. He rode the Tea Party wave to House leadership and then Trump selected him as running mate even after Pence endorsed Cruz and bashed him. He’s a snake oil salesman and his overly rehearsed oratory is getting old.

And never forget when the Access Hollywood tapes came out, Pence and his good friend Paul Ryan were awfully quick to pull campaign appearances and basically told Trump he was on his own. And turns out, they were useless anyway and Trump never needed them.
