That in and of itself has little if anything to do with MS SQL Server 2016.

Pretty sure they introduced to the court the flipping, with demonstration, of votes using the machine.

Sure. You will find it in the last part of the video.

Just give a time within the video. I'm not going to hunt through 2 hrs of video somewhere near the end.

It doesn't make sense to list software that isn't allowed because there are 1 Billion examples of what isn't allowed including your example of the 30 line executable.

Correct, or a small program could be developed to give special access. Don't name it. Wait until the machines are certified and then put it on it. "well, it wasn't listed and a no no.."

Again MS SQL Server 2016 Standard isn't "a small program"....I know hundreds of people that could get on the stand and convince a judge and a jury that SQL Server Management Studio is a part of MS SQL Server 2016 Standard...they wouldn't be lying. Now if the question is can you install MS SQL Server 2016 without it then that answer would be yes and could create reasonable doubt.

It's not a cut and dry issue....which is why every single production server that hosts MS SQL Server (any version) that I've ever dealt with had in the documentation for the server to not install SSMS.

Yes. It was in the Matt Deperno case and it has been linked in this thread for you.

What specific evidence was presented?

That is a brutally written sentence.

They showed a guy running T-SQL code in SSMS against an MS SQL Server 2016 DB on a Dominion server that changed votes????

That would be pretty damning in my eyes.

Any security person or security auditor would laugh at that notion because it goes against the entire reason for limiting software on a machine.

Decent ones wouldn't....the ones that work for federal and state government probably would though.

No. Not at all.
It proves, once again that these machines have multiple outlets to connect to a network.

Matthew DePerno: ?We have the proof that voting machines used in the 2020 elections can be compromised and votes easily transferred from one candidate to another. We can flip votes at the tabulator/precinct level. We can flip votes at the county level. The American people are losing their voice for the future of our democracy. We must fight together for free and fair elections.

Those findings were filed. Just listen to the court case.

I think it's pretty clear that nothing is going to happen based on what lawyers say or on documents in evidence.

You need a guy in the court room, screw COVID, sitting at a Dominion machine running the software and altering the votes...that way he can run the reports sent to the counties pre-flip and then run them post flip.

It is going to take something that clear to get any traction in these cases I think.
