If you think putting a car together in an assembly plant is complicated you are dumber than I thought.

Which is pretty dumb.

Right. I'd be more likely to be working on the team building the damn plant. Why the frick would I want to be one of the grunts that works there?

Worst part of working in manufacturing is the fricken nonstop drama. You're around the same people 5,6 sometimes 7 days a week for up to 16 hours a day if you pull heavy OT and the drama becomes unbearable sometimes.

It's worse among the guys who've been there 30+ years.

And we have one of the highest standards of living with more disposable income than any others.

In fact, MAGA baws are bragging today they are so rich that these tariffs will be unnoticed, while simultaneously crying about getting fricked by shothole nations.

I would go get the charts and tables that illustrate the US hit it's wealth peak for street level Americans over 50 years ago but you know that.

As far as America First/MAGA being so wealthy the tariffs will be unnoticed is just you rambling on with your regular BS. I'm not particularly wealthy but I'm not sweating the market downturn because my investments are sitting in a 30/70 mix .........I'll probably start buying some beat up stocks and index funds tomorrow.

Yeah, setting up the plant, designing the machines and processes is complicated.

Pulling the trigger on the impact that tightens all 6 lugnuts at the same time? Not so much.

I'm sorry that their cheap mardi gras beads are going to be more expensive but very happy for the new economy that is being created and for my taxes to be substantially lowered

Just saying in most of our lives nobody is having a meltdown like Roger. I can understand most don’t understand, don’t care, or are ignorant to politics but Roger is on a different level after one day. I can understand worry after 90 days but ppl like Roger can’t even handle 70 some days of trump in charge. It’s bad. It’s actually interesting admins haven’t told him to STFU.

What gives you the idea that's going to happen?

I assume like most of us you have a middle class income of some variety

Why would you expect a massive tax cut?

Where i work we call the repetitive, easy, entry level jobs the mouth breather jobs. I lasted luke 3 months before I put in for a promotion. No idea how people go decades at those jobs.

I'm speaking strictly in economic terms.

Every worker in that plant can be replaced overnight. By someone who would probably work for less.

I honestly don't understand why the working class Left is so against this. I mean we are literally sticking it to the man, but the cheering on the beaucracy. I am starting to believe that they don't have their own thoughts. Support the current thing.

Is this thread an indication that this board is now in favor of unions, especially the UAW?

If tariffs are so economically bad, why don’t all the other nations of the world just abolish them?

I've seen this asked in multiple threads...Don't think I've seen 1 answer yet.

Tariffs are sometimes a useful tool

Rolling out blanket tariffs on the entire fricking world on a whim to start a massive trade war is not the most well thought out plan
