Why is this case taking so long?
Posted on 6/12/19 at 10:59 am to Bunyan
I have no idea. It seems as if the case got convoluted with Eric Holders lawyers office and a leftist lawyer. Remember when Flynn's lawyer kept saying he has a story to tell and the MSM jizzed about it being against Trump?

quote:
SHARYL ATTKISSON, FULL MEASURE: In the simplest of terms if possible, what do you think is the story that's been uncovered in the past two years?
SIDNEY POWELL: That the entire Russia collusion narrative was made up. That the FBI and the intelligence community and the Department of Justice began an investigation against four American citizens simply because they worked for the opposition political candidate, that being Donald Trump.
Powell, who calls herself politically independent, served as an assistant prosecutor under nine U.S. Attorneys, both Democrats and Republicans. Where many see “Russia collusion” she sees systemic corruption inside the Justice Department and intelligence community. A topic she writes about in “License to Lie.” Crucial evidence, Powell claims, lies within these little-reported court documents— where our intel agencies get lambasted— not by partisans, but by the lead judge in the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
SIDNEY POWELL: —A 99-page opinion, in which she is taking the FBI to task for having given unlimited, unsupervised access to raw intelligence, that means the database of everything the NSA, the National Security Agency, collects on everybody. Word searches, keystrokes, what do you look at in Google, telephone information, calls, texts, you name it. Everything, every nightmare anybody has of information being collected by big brother, the FBI gave three private contractors unlimited, unsupervised access to that as far back as 2015.
In an opinion dated October 2016, Judge Rosemary Collyer writes that an Inspector General found the FBI and National Security Agency—NSA—had committed “widespread” violations of key protections for Americans. And because they waited to notify the court until days before the election— many months after government watchdogs discovered the abuses— Collyer said the NSA was guilty of “institutional ‘lack of candor’ ” and “This is a very serious Fourth Amendment issue.”
SHARYL ATTKISSON: The Judge's language in this opinion is pretty harsh. She says that there could be Constitutional violations—
SIDNEY POWELL: Oh there were—
SHARYL ATTKISSON: She may say there were Constitutional violations.
SIDNEY POWELL: Yes, at one point she talks about egregious Fourth Amendment violations.
SHARYL ATTKISSON: And who was head of the FBI during this time period?
SIDNEY POWELL: That was Mr. Comey.

Imagine Sidney Powell v. Weissmann type lawyers that were on the honest Bob team.
Why is Flynn's, Corsi, and Stones' cases ongoing when the special council team closed shop?

Sidney Powell on Levin was outstanding. All should watch it.

Imagine Sidney Powell v. Weissmann
quote:
Powell is the author of the New York Times best seller and tell-all book Licensed To Lie, which exposed the corruption within the justice system. The book is based on the case Powell won against prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, when he was deputy and later director of the Enron Task Force.
Weissmann served as Mueller’s second in command for the special counsel investigation into the Trump campaign, despite the fact that his tactics have been highly criticized by both judges and colleagues. He was called unscrupulous and has had several significant issues raised about how he operated during the Mueller inquiry into Trump campaign officials, including Flynn.
He prosecuted the accounting firm Arthur Andersen LLP, which ended in the collapse of the firm and 85,000 jobs lost world wide. Maureen Mahoney took the case to the Supreme Court, and Powell consulted. Mahoney overturned Weissmann’s conviction and the decision was reversed unanimously by the court.
Powell has openly stated in columns and on cable networks that Weissmann’s dirty tactics of withholding exculpatory evidence and threatening witnesses to garner prosecutions should have had him disbarred long ago.

And my homegirl litigator Sidney literally writing the book on how the DOJ believes it has a “License to Lie.”
These ladies are not just Patriots. They’re Patriettes.
Cheers ladies. Take the fight to em. This Bawette is here for backup.

DeGenova never said he was his new lawyer; it was just speculated because he didn't comment about it.

Updated: John Solomon confirms this.

It’s the judicial system. Everything moves at a fricking snails pace. Some view that as a feature not a flaw.

New counsel that is expected to ask for 90 days to review everything before moving forward.
That puts this into middle of September and continues to run out the clock on whatever cooperation Flynn is required in his current plea. Would expect in August to see then finally get around to start filing motions to consider removing his plea and fighting for fuller disclosure for the now ended SC office.
It is one of those things that Flynn benefits the most with the delay because the continued drip of other evidence that contradicts things done by the SC can then be used to help strengthen his case that the same type of maleficence may have happened here.
Basically let the Mueller report continue to get hammered and then use that as an excuse to re-review his agreement and use the pattern of bad prior behavior against the SC.
