The question is did Trump request it. Nobody has posted that he did.
The state of FL can do what they choose to do with the monies collected in taxes. The people have the right to retire those elected officials if it goes against what the voting citizens of FL want.
It's the same as asking if Tx should be paying for a law suit that is part of a federal intrusion into elections. Or the federal intrusions into another states right understanding that it will effect them too.
