Needed to block off the cartel issues from VE thru MX. Navy ships off the shores of VE and get our boys ready on our border.

No body wanted this, but Boomer Democrats created it. Time for the Right to fix what they created.

What relationship?

The one where the USA gives and pays for everything and the other side is a welfare state?

That shite is over, at least for 3 5 more years, why do you think both borders hates OMB? The free ride is over.

Well get tied down, militarily, in both Mexico and Ukraine that's when China will move on Tiawan.

You really think Mexican drug cartels will take more than 2% of our military? We could take out 50% of them with patriotic nerds playing with drones without leaving the base they are stationed.

This entire thread is so discombobulated and retarded that I can’t even follow it.

So first you had Vietnam where we had a war in an area of drug trade, then Afghanistan, where heroin production went up while we were there and has gone down since we left, and now Mexico. I see a pattern.

I could only imagine the destruction and carnage if they came here to FAFO. They are extremely well organized and regimented.

Even normal Mexican citizens would join in to stop them and THEN you'd have everyone except the Mexican Govt on their a$$.

People need to go listen to Seth Harp on Tucker before they go sound like 5 yr olds cheering for their favorite Avengers

You have a strange definition of neighbors and allies!!!
Apart from the drugs and cartels, Mexico allowed millions of illegals to cross thier borders otw to the US southern border.
We don't need friends like that.

I’m saying if we go and snatch Maduro out of his own dictatorship in front of the whole world, particularly Mexico and Central America get the message that the Trump administration isn’t playing games.

I thought we were done playing the “change in other countries administrations” game. I guess we’ll just never learn…

I laugh when I see people post on X saying that the cartel would destroy the US military.

I don’t have military experience, but I would guess a few shots from a Navy cruiser is pretty much all it would take to scare the frick out of them.

A superior idea would be to :

a.) not invade, only _threat_ to invade
b.) coerce the cartels to divert their 'goods' to other countries
c.) allow the US to 'pick' which countries get said goods
d.) _maybe_ take a piece of the pie
e.) avoid any conflict as we need trade with Mexico

The benefits would be:

a.) decrease, near - zero drug influence in the US
b.) Mexico acting as a vassal (but not true) state
c.) able to affect other sovereign countries we do not like (i.e. Canada)
d.) continue trade with Mexico (tequila, tacos, cheap clothes, Latinas...)

In essence, BASF: We don't make the products you buy, we make them better (for others).

Do you, or anyone else in this thread, have a better idea how to decrease the drug trade?

I understand that it’ll never be eliminated completely, but fentanyl is a terrible problem and the majority of that comes from south of the border.

How would anyone in this thread combat this issue? Reminder, it’s been 40 years since the cartels started their business. Yes, the CIA probably had a hand in it in the 80s and probably for a while now….but it has to be fixed…..

Clearly the time for talking is over…..

What is the suggestion from anyone here?

No shite genius.
And who is the CIAs biggest nightmare right now?

Cut off their illicit financing and you weaken them, just like USAIDs....

Increase penalties for possession of certain substances. Attacking demand is the only way out of this.

A "war" with cartels just means millions more illegal immigrants

The lower inflation we are currently experiencing helps everyone.

Yes under the leadership you crave this happened.

Most of your life you’ve allowed for the invasion of this country.

Take a back seat old man.
