He was a disruptor in 2016. Came in with all kinds of “outsider to get things done” cred. Got things done. Never grew into the role to not just learn the DC system, but master it and transform it.
Know who else came in as outsiders? Carter and Reagan. Carter never got past being the peanut farmer. Reagan came in, connected with the powers, and moved heaven and earth. He knew 1984 was different than 1980.
Drink the Kool-aid all you want, but it’s this kind of fanboy crap that is the problem. It’s not 2016 anymore.

Trump has a knack for being completely right about about politicians and other stuff he says that people deride as conspiracy or some other bull shite. Sometimes it takes a couple years, but the truth comes out eventually. Most of the time the damage is done by the time the truth is revealed and the people attacking him fully know this. Hell, they don’t even care if an article they write is 90% wrong. They keep the Pulitzer anyway
