There's a ton of resignations going on over in Europe, but I haven't had the chance to research it. It would make more sense to me if Trump.was remaining in office.

The eu is headed for rough times with how they’ve bungled brexit, the lockdowns, and the economy. Throw in their current power shortages with the cold weather and over reliance on renewables that can’t make up the gap in declining fossil fuel output and their future looks rather turbulent.

We should just go ahead and form one happy big government for the world. That way we don’t have to worry about these pesky borders or agreements or anything again.

Well globalization cannot happen fully if there is an EU either...

Unfortunately we are headed directly toward what you have mentioned...

Or an uprising against it. Germans are tired of carrying the EU economically and Brexit didn't help.

Many in Europe seeing Germany place their own country's needs as a priority consider it as an indication of a rise of German Nationalism.

I can understand anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of history finding that disquieting.

In the same manner of seeing some rednecks storm the capitol equating to 75 million white supremacists on the rampage here.

I agree, but I don't think Germans are tired of carrying the EU. I think they want to, they want the control. So it's easier for the rise of German Nationalism.

I think, in general. Germans are tired of having to carry a cross of guilt because of their grandfathers.

Western Germany, at least, was made to be penitent over the atrocities of the Nazis. Less sure about East Germany. But that was about 80 years ago.

There is no German "nationalism." For one, there aren't enough native Germans left, they're Turks & Eastern Europeans. Of the actual Germans left, they're globalist cucks.

And Merkel's not resigning, she just isn't running again this fall.

Truth. Their nationalist party AFD has had setbacks over the last few months. Instead of sustaining any gains that they made, they are regressing and having to revamp.
