On the surface of the reporting, it looks like the police beat the guy up.
That said, why would the guy run? I think it’s reasonable and relevant to explore theories on that…

Because he was fricked up and thought it would be a good idea to try to get away.
Or you could listen to Ben Crump (the family's civil rights attorney) who claims the guy was just trying to "run home to the safety of his mama"

Its funny to me that 100% of the time, the minority says they are afraid of being shot or beaten to death by cops. Yet their first instinct is to run from or try to kill the cop. You would think simple, even primative logic would lead a person to come to the conclusion that you should not provoke being shot or beaten to death by complying with LE.

Is this guy even licensed in TN? IIRC there was one he tried to get involved in and game out he wasn't lice3nsed in the state, and he kind of slithered out of the spot light.

Anyone remember the white guy in TX killed by cops making fun of him on video, and they weren't even kicked off the force let alone charged with anything??
