Congress controls federal spending. Anything done by executive order can be reversed by the next POTUS.

Those were not named the Big Beautiful Bill. So this is indeed different. Besides, those were spending bills, this is not. Just ask Stephen Miller.

Which means it will never happen. Cuts have to happen in the time you are in office. I’m sure the savings are in the last 5 years which will be after another bill has taken this one’s place. Disappointing.
