Where does this "1500 theaters" criteria come from? Is that some sort of standard baseline used for box office stats? Or is it a cherry picked number to exclude a bunch of others?

On Wednesday, Breitbart News reported on the daily haul. So on Wednesday, they reported on the number that was out, which would be Tuesday's number. Which, per your LINK would be.... wait for it....
