The Fog of War without a War (yet)?
I simultaneously saw video of "celebrations of Maduro's removal" in Venezuela(which... I mean, I'm sure the vast majority of the population is VERY, VERY, VERY happy with...) and news that the Venezuelan government made it an illegal activity to celebrate the removal of Maduro publicly and has patrols out... and later clarification that the video was from something else at a different time (and I believe in a different country, anyway).
We are not in control of Venezuela... I doubt they even agreed to that oil shipment...

The current fiscal trajectory is simply unsustainable. The window for a controlled course correction is closing with each passing election cycle while any further delay only narrows the set of survivable outcomes.
At some point gravity is going to take over and it won’t be a soft landing for any of us. That is not a subjective opinion of the continuing crisis but an objective analysis of long-term trends and the stark fiscal reality that what we face.
