She was a Democrat until 20 years ago, so this is no surprise.

Ivey does whatever the frick she wants and has not once been held accountable by anyone in state media. She’s a fricking thug who’s scared to answer questions.

She’s often not sober enough to field questions.

It’s embarrassing how the media and the voters give her a pass just because she’s old. She had no business serving more than one term.

What does this mean? Is there some state law preventing her from calling a special session? Budget constraints? She can't be bothered?

She’s hiding behind the current court case.

The truth is she is probably happy that we have two Dem representatives. The idea that she’s this conservative champion has always been a false. She’s literally a Democrat who switch parties for convenience. She will be the longest serving governor and her legacy is a gas tax.

Gotcha...I'm not really up Alabama politics. It's one of the few Southern states that I haven't lived in.

Does somebody have a vacation coming up? Maybe a wedding? Did they run out of money to pay for a special session?

She's full of crap. We could easily vote in the exact maps that were previously struck down. The ruling today even expressly discusses this.

Her 11 years is an indictment of the Alabama voters.

She’s literally barely functional in public. She rarely (if ever) gives interviews. It’s embarrassing that she served 11 years.

How the frick are people in a southern state like Alabama voting for this nonsense as Gov? I do see lots of TDS Auburn posters on here so I guess there's plenty stupid to go around.

Ivey is about as bad off as Biden was and has been for several years now.

OK...having better come up to speed on this, it seems to me she really has no choice. A citizen should immediately sue to have the recent forced redistricting overturned since Callais appears to put Milligan in serious jeopardy. People need to force the issue.
