As long as Ivey doesn't get 50%, then it doesn't matter who you vote for this time around.

She's in trouble once she gets 1-on-1. Hard to run her prevent defense campaign in a runoff. Also a runoff shatters the image that she's the most popular Governor in America. Her support is broad but thin.

I'm biased but I think Lew matches up better against Kay in a runoff.

I agree that Ivey is in real trouble if we can force a runoff

That makes 2nd place critical

Can Lew make up enough ground? He’s doing great with the yard sign game…

I know we have some time, but the clock is ticking…

I don’t know much about him, why the vitriol?

Son of Fob James. This is his third time running for Governor. Lost in 2010 because he made some remark about cutting Nick Saban’s salary. Made a lot of money on toll roads like the Foley Beach Express.

With her stupid mask and lock down policies early on, I am surprised she has any support.

Does anyone know a Ivey supporter? For as popular as she is, you just never see a yard sign or a rabid supporter. It's like everyone just gives her a pass because she hasn't been indicted.

What are Nick Saban's chances if he were to run for Governor and be the Coach at Bama?

Democrats in Alabama will vote for her in the Republican primary, even though they like to pretend they don't do that.

this, coupled with her gas tax hike are my biggest issues with her

I won’t vote for her unless she is the candidate against a democrat

I run in home appointments all over the state, her signs are more prominent in higher wealth areas (Mt Brook, Owens Criss Roads)

But I have never met a passionate supporter of hers…

Yeah, everyone I know that supports her has some kind of professional/financial connection to her administration or the status quo. There are obviously some simps out there that believe she's really telling Joe Biden “No Way Josè.”

If people really looked beyond her photo ops and saw her in person, they'd be shocked at how old & feeble she is.

No way I vote for Mee Maw she's been terrible for Southwest Alabama.

From the Gas Tax to the 1 10 toll road controversy, to other roads like US 45 and AL 158 we get the short straw here.

We need a realist as Governor. Someone that will get our share of lottery and gaming money instead of letting Alabama money leave the state. Someone that can literally herd cats and get that bunch of crooks in Montgomery to do the right thing for us instead of the lobbyists and special interests.

Because that's what he says in his commercials. So it must be true.

This is Tim's second time running, not third. He came very close to getting into the runoff the first time around. So you're against capitalism now? I love using the toll road when I go to Orange beach.

i went back and looked at the results, bentley only beat him by a few thousand votes for the runoff. and i have no doubt he would have defeated byrne.

AND HE HAD THE GREATEST POLITICAL AD IN HISTORY

She is a corporate puppet that's fat with cash to run non-stop gun-totin' granny tv ads and Alabama voters have very short memories. She passed a perpetually increasing gas tax for "infrastructure", she joined in the blame the unvaccinated war when Biden started threatening his mandates and if you've ever seen her in person, you'd be amazed she can stay upright at all. James is just a younger version of her. Blanchard's a weird one. She hopped in the Senate race early, trashed Brooks right up until Durant joined the race and then she suddenly withdrew and joined the Governor race. That smells, to me. Burdette is really the only promising entry, but he doesn't have the fat wallet of the other two. If there is a runoff, hopefully that pushes some interest his way.
