He isn't a politician. It's probably my favorite thing about him. He is an exceptionally strong leader though. And that cannot be denied. If you consider the things he has been able to accomplish despite having a gridlocked legislature (even when he has gifted "his side" the majority), it's nothing short of incredible.

Actually, I take that back. I think my favorite thing about him is that he is a legitimately awesome troll. If he drank I could have a beer with that guy and actually have a real frickin discussion.

Governor Ron leading the charge to put Amendment 3 on the Florida ballot which basically eliminates property taxes in FL was a stroke of genius which helped FL avoid the blue tsunami. Good midterm turnout carried the day.

I don’t disagree. This has been both a positive and a negative. Negative in that he’s unwittingly allowed himself to be manipulated by people acting in bad faith at times. Like with Iran.

I am decidedly to the right of Trump and I suspect you are too.

I'm somewhere around Ron Paul ideologically, but I wouldn't call myself a Libertarian because that clan was overtaken by the intelligence apparatus shortly after Ron Paul was railroaded out of politics.

But I view Trump as our horse to get our system set to the point where, in the future, people like Ron Paul WON'T be railroaded out of Government by the intelligence apparatus.

Don't vote for how you want things to be next year. Vote for how you want things to be 10 years from now is the basic rule I've adopted.

Trump's goal, his explicit statement, is that he represents an existential threat to the establishment. I am on board with that. And I can see the moves he has made to affect that end. Therefore, I support him until he can't keep working towards that goal.

Ron Paul is a full blown fascist if you ask the libertarians representing that party today

You can always tell the most ardent MAGA cultists amongst us.

They hate DeSantis.

Right. Probably the easiest bridge for the IC to ever make in order to subvert a movement. The guy who wants no federal government beyond it's explicit constitutional mandates MUST be a "fascist" because his proposal would allow capitalism to thrive "unchecked." Therefore, that is "fascism." Where business sets policy with no government oversight or with government cooperation.

From there they've tried to repackage classic liberalism into neo-libertarianism and the result is Bunk Moreland.

We used boats and planes and ZERO ground troops.

So sick of hearing about this “WAR”.

Trump kind of made himself the "No more Wars" guy with his campaign speeches.

But, anyway, I don't think it was so much about the war as it was the economic side effects of the war. The inflation, the higher gas prices, the higher interest rates, caused by the war. Things were getting much better before the Iran BS, then boom, here we go again policing the Middle East spending Billions. People are truly sick of us having to police the world. Truly sick of us getting more and more in debt by the Trillions in these never ending wars and nothing really to show for it in return, see Afghanistan...

About this...

I thought about doing a thread on it earlier, but decided not to because I made quite a few threads today and still have one more that I might want to make before midnight just for funsies , but did anyone else notice that the price of oil dropped like a frickin' rock today? Trump has been saying for awhile now that oil prices would drop sharp and fast soon. And they did. Almost as if they had been being kept up artificially specifically to hurt Trump in the polls and therefore in the midterms and therefore ultimately to help get him out of office ASAP.
