Add Maryland to the list of states issuing stay-at-home executive orders. Waiting on VA! But liquor stores are staying open as 'essential businesses.' If only the morons would stay home and practice distancing instead of throwing bonfires and playing hoops at the park.

Effective at 8PM tonight, punishment of $5k fine and/or 1 year in jail. Welcome to the police state!

I live in MD and Hogan has announced "new measures" every day that are basically saying the same shite. Out here in the suburbs and in western MD which is Trump country people are still having barbeques, block parties etc.

Down in Baltimore they are still playing basketball, soccer, etc at the parks. He's gonna keep doing this shite until people listen.

Now comes the interesting part: how is he going to enforce this?

Do YOU want a bunch of alcoholics starting withdrawals at the same time?

Liquor stores are staying open because when alcoholics abruptly quit drinking they go into a detox spiral and often have to be hospitalized. They don't want to put any more stress on medical resources than necessary.

can't help but have a little smile when so many DC suburbs (MD is a lot of it) and their holier-than-thou attitude about the south's people are getting whacked by this thing.

I'm fairly certain the most opulent county in the USA is PG county, MD.

Which brings up another question, are AA meetings considered "essential"? That's how alot of those folks stay sober, is it not?

I too live in MD.. I don’t know what city you live in but here in Rockville, people are pretty much for the most part staying home. Do see lots of families riding bikes and going on walks though.

Thanks, patriot. I'm sure you're a "great American."

Bless your heart. I see you haven't spent much time in the DC area.

Nice that you are smiling as our economy falters, people are dying, 401k’s are being drained and millions of people are out of work. What could possibly make you frown?
