I have learned that the most wonderful thing about telling the truth, aside from it being morally right, is that I can always remember the truth.
It is very difficult to catch a liar lying once. But usually liars always lie, and it is the other lies that they concoct that makes their stench of shiite stink so bad.
So...why is McCabe saying that they opened the counter intelligence investigation AFTER Comey was fired when we all know that it started sometime in May 2016, or even earlier?

Nunes stepped aside specifically from the HIC's investigation on Russian meddling in the 2016 election, and denies the media's characterization of this act as a recusal.
Regardless, that doesn't mean that the FBI can launch new, parallel investigations and keep this information from the Chair of the HIC

Use your head. Trump is president. He appoints the AG (also was part of his transition team) who has authority over these people, and they all work under the threat of termination by him. Consequential connections to the president are the unavoidable pitfalls of launching countless investigations into a sitting POTUS. Completely wasteful when you already have a SC looking into these matters.
