It would be a nice and heartwarming thing to do. Sometimes in life the little gestures are bigger than politics.

Just another example of just how very entitled these Washington DC Establishment types consider themselves to be.

They think that they own a fiefdom in FedGov unconditionally and that they are obligated to maintain that fiefdom for the benefit of themselves and their progeny, as though it's some sort of Landed Title of Nobility to be passed down by bloodlines.

These people aren't public servants, they are Nobility-Wanna-Be-Pricks. Why We the People have put up with this "King George, Junior" types for so long is puzzling.

Can't people see that McCain played ball for the Deep State Establishment for so long in order to provide wealth and lucrative employment for himself, his wife and his kids? He was never a "public servant", he was a "Baron John McCain" servant, and he still is.

Go warm your own heart somewhere outside of the US Senate.

McCain is part of the senate and a war hero. His wife would be doing it in his memory which would be a nice touch.

It's a stupid idea which will actually weaken the Republic and violate the tradition of using democratic methods to govern instead of autocratic, and what all of this means is that this will probably happen.

Welcome to the US Senate, Honorable Cindy McCain

Truth is, I don't give a frick about what happens to the USA.

first off, the old bastard needs to give up his seat already if he can't do his job.. and I think it would be a disgrace if his wife is give his seat. She has zero qualifications other than being born into money and being Mccains wife.

Give it to someone who actually deserves the seat

Cmon I like Cindy, she's elegant, likable, and beautiful, would have no problem with her succeeding him

Funny. Those were my exact thoughts about Trump becoming president. Glad you agree with me.

Trump ran and was elected, she would simply be appointed.. big difference

I'm surprised the old bastard didn't just go full tilt and request that Chelsea Clinton be appointed to his seat should he die mid term.

THE REASON THEY NEVER STEP DOWN IS BECAUSE THEN THEYRE OUT OF THE ENTITLED THAT DONT HAVE TO ABIDE BY LAWS! IF OUTSIDE THEY COULD BE EXPOSED AND ARE VULNERABLE THEN AND ONLY THEN TO LEGAL CONSEQUENCES!

THAT’S WHY MCCAIN WONT STEP DOWN EVEN ON DEATHBED AND WANTS A RELATIVE THATS TIED TO HIS ILL GOTTEN MILITARY ARM SALES GAINS TO FELLOW HIM. WHO BETTER TO PICK THAN HIS WIFE?

HOPE YALL HEARD THIS :-)

I'm sure Arizona has had enough McCains to last a lifetime.

Then why did they reelect him? Let's face it when it comes to electing frickfaces, AZ is the GOAT.

In 2008 I had to choose elephant sized McCain over T-Rex sized Obama. That was a shite election. I pinched my noise and hoped he would die. I voted for the possibility of Palin who was ok at best.

I voted for Ron Paul in the Republican Primary, but voted against Obama in the General Election.
