They don't give us much to be positive about, but statements like that definitely does.

CNN WaPo and so forth and whatever broke a story last night overnight regarding a bombshell about a whistle blower that said they heard Trump promise a foreign leader something. Schiff for brains is pissed off because the spook agency won't release the whistle-blowers paper. (That the dems most likely planted)

Schiff for brains secured Maguire the spook guy by threat of a subpoena; to testify --in public of course-- the 26th of September as another dog and pony show 'gotcha' that will fail.

(See the other long arse thread of explanation)

Like clock work --as if it was carefully planned-- McCabe --of all people-- gets on CNN and says the whistle blower has credibility.

Yesterday Horowitz confirmed this in a hearing...

Question:

How in the entire frick does a member of our "intelligence community" have one fricking iota what Trump said to a foreign leader during a phone call?
This is the most important question.

They don't want us thinking about this. The whistle-blower who will most likely forever remain secret will never be IDed. They want us to think it is someone close to Trump to make him feel paranoid.

This is classified information. So this is the same song and dance they tried a few years ago. This time it is a reach around of executive privilege because it goes through the spook agency and an IG. They think they are slick.

How did Adam Schiff know that the IG got a letter (if they didn't set this up themselves?) Either this or they were leaked info. they shouldn't have been.

Bottom-line like Phil Mudd disappointed Cuomo in saying. It is not their job to monitor the President and report jack shite. If Trump promised Iran cash and gold bars like Obama; or he told Iran they can suck his big white dick and fry in hell-- it is not for them to leak or judge.

Durham and Barr better bring these frickers to a screeching halt and quickly.

I'll make a prediction. Trump probably promised the Dutch PM an all expense paid holiday at Mar a Lago. In exchange he wants a whole lot of Gouda cheese and a container of Heineken .

He's right. Being a traitor does take incredible courage. Back in the day we hung them instead of giving them jobs on TV.

Also the IG won't disclose contents...

They had someone in, in a closed session already.

The two in that picture were rotten to the core Obama's peeps neverTrumpers at the very least. The first one was more interested in LGBTQURS rights than her job it seems.

Goldstein is a longtime unitary-executive hardliner. I'd hope if your doctrine leads you to conclude that *hypothetically* the President can break US law/endanger NatSec and keep it secret from Congress, and that there's no recourse therefore to indictment or impeachment that it might lead one to moderate one's views on the subject... but probably he won't.

He's a founding editor of the site. It's super-silly that Based-Grocer is trying to paint the site as some kind of hub of resistance. They're not a monolith.

you sound just like NT74 with your unnecessary bigly wording. Let's talk about "NatSec" and Obama before you even begin to hypothesize about Trump. Your bashing CTH is a joke.

BTW: NatSec huh, are you former military?

Do we have any more details than "someone said POTUS 'promised' something to some foreign leader and it troubled the someone that heard the alleged promise to someone"?

I mean..that is too nebulous for me to care. But, I am truly open to hearing WHAT was promised to WHOM and HOW that promise was made and WHEN it was made and WHERE this took place / is to take place.

Furthermore, the left has said Trump is a LIAR. If a LIAR "promises" something...is it really a PROMISE?

These are good points. Hail also mentioned that Trump is sufficiently incoherent enough that we can't necessarily trust we'll a good sense of what he really means much of the time. I have to believe that these folks (whistleblower, witness, and IG alike) wouldn't put their asses on the line for this unless they were pretty sure.

We can't know until we see it, though. Our system presumes the president will put the country's best interests above his own and will respect the law and we really don't haven't worked out WTF to do if the people working for him suspect he won't.

I am seeing the Times report that it's multiple complaints rather than the one promise. There's some speculation that Trump pressuring the Ukrainian president to investigate Biden is part of it (they spoke in the time frame, Guiliani met with their people shortly thereafter, etc.), but this last part is still speculative.

Link please mister Q. This would be precisely why Obama's spooks would be seething mad. Let's speculate that Trump inquired about Biden's shady deals and promised them extra continued protection from Putin. BFD.
