From Washington and Jefferson to this. Idiocracy is not the future. It’s now. These are our leaders? We applaud this? If this is the best we have, how sad is that?

per State Law, if you know of sexual abuse and don’t report it- that’s a crime.
Which state law? Required reporter? In Florida a judge is a required reporter, but not every attorney. Are you referring to a different law?

we know he knew that Greenberg was having sex with a minor
Past tense or ongoing? Also, please provide the FACTS that support this allegation. That’s a pretty hefty allegation. If he knew if an ongoing abuse and did nothing I will definitely lose all respect for him.

F.S. 39 states any person with knowledge must report
The complaint would rely on the moral code that lawyers should act morally higher than “any person” and as such, he has a higher compelling reason to report.

Ok- I’m not involved in this investigation- i don’t have facts but all i personally know is what I’ve read
What we know:
1) Greenberg was charged with various counts of underage sex, paying for sex, transporting underaged girls across state lines for sec etc
2) Greenberg used his position to make fake IDs for himself and for some girls
3) Greenberg and Gaetz knew each other - first politically and then socially
5) Greenberg texting girls and mentioning Gaetz and asking costs
6) Gaetz venmo receipts to one girl who had been negotiating w/ Greenberg with exact amount that was agreed upon
7) Greenberg took Gaetz to his office after hours to see his license mill operations
These have all been reported with texts etc- so, yeah i don’t have proof of my allegations but I’d be more stunned if he didn’t know that Greenberg was sexually assaulting a minor than if he did.
Im sure I’m missing an even more clear example but I’m bored of looking up articles.

You don't know what you are talking about. His girlfriend's testimony in the grand jury exonerated Gaetz. If not he would have been convicted and locked up a long time ago. You are peddling the fake news started by Stephen Alford who was convicted of bribing Gaetz's father for $25 million to make the fake news story go away.
Yeah I guess we should take your word on it

We need to get back to fat shaming.

From what I can tell that is in the judicial code, which would support my previous statement that judges must report, but not all lawyers.

So a moral code but not any violation of a disciplinary code? I would agree with that. IF he knew and didn’t turn him in that is despicable. However, I think you’ll be disappointed with this as the basis to take away his law license.

These two statements don’t go together.
I bet a bunch of the stuff you said is known is completely fabricated.

This didn’t happened…or better yet/ this is speculation and you have no way of knowing unless you were on that grand jury
This young lady had to cut a deal w/ the Feds to testify- and grand juries don’t exonerate people

Did they indict? I’ve been a prosecutor and presented to grand juries. It is not difficult at all to indict. No indictment is as close to an exoneration as you can get if the prosecution wants an indictment.
