Interesting. How do we know Gaetz was aware? Was it an ongoing crime or something Gaetz knew was going to happen moving forward. I’m strictly asking because the disciplinary rules are pretty clear. Which rule, specifically do you claim was violated?

I doubt you're talking to anyone that knows anything beyond what Don Lemon tells him

The claim is: he knew that Greenberg was having sex w/ an underage girl

As for the question of how do we know? I don’t have time to be your google, i tried finding a good article but i couldn’t- let’s just say, when this story broke, all of us that work in/around the Capitol and those of us connected to Central Florida became deeply aware of all stories.

I don’t know the whole story but I’m pretty confident that he knew of the crime.

And again, I’m not in that inner circle but I know each person involved on a different level. A friend of mine got a text from a reporter bc her name ended up in a Gaetz venmo receipt - a girl i know who works in the Capitol, she is friends with the girlfriend of Gaetz who helped arrange dates in different cities for him

Even if all of the speculation you just posted were to be true, I still didn’t see a citation to the rule of professional conduct that was violated which would lead to a disciplinary hearing to have him disbarred.

Rather than deal in speculation I prefer to look at proven facts and apply those facts to the specific rules that need to be applied.

Forgive me if I don’t put a lot of stock into what those of you on Capitol Hill spread around the rumor mill. Surely you’ve been around long enough to know that is a risky move.

Yet you are pushing for someone to be disbarred because you don’t like his politics.

Every guy here who hasn't been attracted to a 17-year-old girl after he turned 18 was attracted to a 17-year-old boy. Dirty secret but we all know it, so let's be honest. No one (except Democrats) supports pedophilia, but I'm not gonna wring my hands if a guy in his 20's gets it on with a 17-year-old. There are more evil things in the world, and the law is what it is because we have to draw the line somewhere, but unless you went to an all-boys' school (and even then many of you share the experience), you know that some 15-year-olds are more mature than some 18-year-olds.

Naw bro, don’t say things you don’t know. I don’t try to punish because i disagree with their politics- that’s what the extreme right and extreme left do.

I personally know Gaetz, i personally know his is a bad dude and I don’t say that about everyone.

This is politics aside

Ok. Not sure what that means, what makes him bad in your eyes? The rules of professional conduct are what govern whether an attorney faces discipline or not. Do you have any portion of that code you claim were violated. “I know him and he is bad” isn’t going to cut it for anyone.

Sigh. Republicans' one blind spot continues. Repubs should do themselves a favor and stop demonizing abortion.

Ok- i don’t know what you are looking for- you insulted me and I responded to the insult by saying that his politics has nothing to do with my low opinion of him.

As for the code- i don’t know the bar code, I’m not a lawyer so I can’t speak to any violation except to say that we know he knew that Greenberg was having sex with a minor and per State Law, if you know of sexual abuse and don’t report it- that’s a crime.

And I’m assuming there is a moral code or criminal code that he violated …and that’s why he should be disbarred
