Massie's not responsible for the people who spoke out. He is responsible for his association with them. We still believe in holding people accountable for their own actions, right?

Massie saw a way to attack Trump, so he ran with the narrative given to him by "victims" who turned out to be complicit in the abuse. Will Massie apologize for running cover for co-conspirators? Will Massie admit his TDS caused him to not do his due diligence?

That doesn't sound very principled to me. Maybe I just have high standards.

Not sure why this seems relevant to you. You, like everyone else here, knows the back story with the Epstein stuff.
Go look at the Google Search Trends. Very few people were discussing Epstein during the Biden years and everyone knew something didn't sit right with the Epstein stuff. Bill Barr and Merrick Garland both shut that down.

During the campaign, however, Trump and Vance talked about it and searches spiked just after the election because people expected Trump and Vance to deliver on these files. They didn't. When called out, Trump went after his base for holding him accountable for one of the biggest promises he made during the campaign.

Every time you go after Massie, you make Trump look worse. If MAGA actually wanted to minimize Massie, they would give him what he wants and champion the things he advances, when he advances them, like banning the kill switch stuff on cars and turning them into surveillance devices, or getting the SAVE Act through long ago when it was first presented.

Feb 2025 and here you can see the stirrings leading to the EFTA, this was at a time when Epstein dialog picked up a bit. I think this was just after the Bondi binder fiasco. Might have been a couple days prior. I don't remember when the binders were released.
The fact that the Epstein files haven’t yet been released demonstrates that the President doesn’t yet have operational control of the DOJ and FBI.

It could take a while to establish, or as with his first term, it might never be established.

Dialog about Epstein steadily rose from that point forward.

Massie in July 2025 as he and others wanted the files released, interesting timing here, and by the way MAGA Inc is a big PAC that some guy here posted about a main funder and tried to argue it showed Massie was paid for, yet that guy funded MAGA Inc which has gone after Massie. This is right at the time when Trump went after his supporters for wanting Epstein stuff released. Demanding transparency got people scolded by Trump and millions poured into getting Massie out of office, and then Mike Johnson got in on the act to sabotage and delay Massie's discharge petition to force a vote on release of the files.
MAGA: “We want you to name and prosecute Epstein’s clients.”

MAGA Inc: “Best we can do is $1.8 million of ads against the most fiscally conservative member of Congress.”
