Well people do have to get licenses to drive and there are some pretty common sense laws one needs to abide by. But you are right, even though they have their uses, they are quite destructive in many ways and certainly the automotive companies don't care as long as they can sell more.

There are laws against shooting (with a fire arm) and killing/injuring people without a just reason. Matter of fact, generally speaking its with any object or even your bare hands.

If you have not been paying attention, its the state who is the most unstable and willing to unleash violence upon innocent civilians. Why would anyone in their right mind give them more power and yourself less power?
