Gonna be tough. I fear Taylor Swifts endorsement of Bredeson tipped the scales in his favor

I just don’t understand the thinking by the people of Tennessee here.
A lot of people really fricking hate Marsha Blackburn.
Some Republicans have convinced themselves that Bredeson will vote as a Moderate in the Senate, since he governed as one.
Davidson County is blue, getting bluer, and is one of the fastest growing metros in the Eastern half of the United States.
Tennessee will not be 65/35 Republican much longer.

Knoxville inside the city limits is liberal (anyone want a slightly used female mayor who knows how to punch every SJW code) but the county is very different.
After all the county voted a pro wrestler for Mayor!

Yeah, Bredeson is gonna be a rubber stamp for D's. Only reason I voted Marsha. I do not like that woman, but she is going to be a rubber stamp for R's, so it's not like her opinion matters either.
East Tenn is getting bluer as well. Northern retirees are starting to make this home instead of Florida and bringing their shitty politics with them even though that is why they are leaving their area. Chattanooga is getting bluer throughout the area because of the businesses we are bringing in.

The city and its Signal Mountain Liberals are blue as it can be, but the Chattanooga suburbs are red as my neck. Bredesen may win Hamilton county, but he'll get crushed in Bradley, Sequatchie, McMinn and the surrounding areas.
In the end, I think Bredesen wins Shelby, Davidson, Hamilton, and Knox. That's it.

Suburbs are getting bluer, Joda is doing decent in East Ridge. Areas around Ooltewah are getting bluer thanks to Volkswagen and Amazon moving into the area. New businesses are attracting a lot more outsiders to the city and county which are making it bluer.
City is growing, it happens. They aren't going to swing blue any time soon, but blue is invading.

Williamson Co solidly Blackburn. That's all I can do. Davidson needs to not go full retard.

East TN Republicans are not very conservative. They will vote for Phil. They are the same Republicans who put in low rated conservative Republicans like Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker. Most of what comes out from the east are either Democrats or non-conservative Republicans.

What a sad fall for that place. Used to be a decent area to raise a family on a blue collar salary. Now it's an overgrown immigrant and meth camp.

The same people that are going elect Lee in a landslide are voting for Blackburn. Blackburn will when by double digits.

Made me SO glad I didn't vote early. I was going to, but then I wondered to myself... who does TayTay think I should vote for? Then she told me, so I'm glad I didn't vote early. Bredesen's the right man for the job, and he's applying for it. He won't vote with the dems and will be his own man. He said so himself.

Makes sense though, East Tenn greatly benefitted from socialism that is now endorsed by Republicans and disliked by Democrats.

Blackburn is a disgusting POS... and I really want her to win. I think there is enough juice in the counties to get it done. Once the big 5 cities get large enough though, democrats will be dominating these races. Nash, Knox, Noog, Memphis and Clarksville are all blue cities and Nash and Clarksville are growing incredibly fast.

The country is being gentrified.
It started in Florida. Then on to Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. Now moving full steam ahead in Tennessee, North Carolina, Idaho, and Montana.
The common denominator? High income whites from areas with dense populations pushing out low income whites in areas with sparse populations.
You're next: Wyoming, Utah, non-coastal Washington and Oregon, Kentucky.
