This right here is an example of why Nietzsche called Christianity a slave religion. I think this is truly how Foo, and a great many of “religious Christians” really feel. You’re not religious out of a love for your religion, etc. You’re religious because you harbor fantasies of revenge against people that you hate or are jealous of. I understand the feelings. Those are natural human feelings. I don’t understand the fantasies about revenge being administered by your god in the afterlife.
I'm a Christian because of my love for Christ, not because I have some sort of jealous hatred and fantasy about others suffering forever. Why would I frequently tell others on this site to repent of their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to forgive their sins if I actually wanted them to suffer forever? If your hypothesis was correct, Christians wouldn't share the gospel but would purposefully withhold it. We would be hiding the truth so that others wouldn't have the opportunity to believe it and be saved, but that's not what we do.
On the contrary: because I believe in the truth of Christ's perfect obedience, sacrificial death, miraculous resurrection, glorious ascension, and eventual return, I believe that all people should repent of their sins and believe that same message of the gospel for their own salvation. I even want my personal enemies (those who hate me) to repent and be saved through faith in Jesus Christ.
BTW, this isn't some holier-than-thou belief, where I'm just parroting some religious trope because I think I'm supposed to. I truly want others to be saved because God has saved me personally. I deserve hellfire as much as the next person, and even more so, as I'll say with Paul that I'm the foremost of sinners. I didn't deserve the salvation offered to me by Christ, and so I want others to experience that same forgiveness.
Love and forgiveness is my motivation, not hatred and revenge, but I don't expect you to fully understand that because you have rejected the God of love and forgiveness.

I definitely believe AI could essentially be a "false idol". I'm not worried about a 'Terminator' situation where AI instructs robots to physically genocide all the humans. I'm worried about mass control, psyop, bowing down to it. A future where "AI's algorithms know best" because it can supposedly think better than all human brains, so we are told to obey it's wisdom. It will start with people instructed to go without heating their homes, to eat bugs instead of meat, etc. You will own nothing and be happy.
