I can literally see my kid jumping on the trampoline in our yard on Google maps, but when they release footage from a convenience store robbery or of a UFO, it's using 1990 technology.

I feel sorry for our military if that's the shite they have to use to do their job. I'd spring to buy them some GoPros, since they have a higher definition apparently.
That's when photos of the "UFOs" are available at all in the first place.

Assuming it's not just atmospheric anomalies or instrument error, I'd say the most likely scenario is it's our own people experimenting with tech that Rubio doesn't have clearance to know about.

No. The US military is decades ahead of everyone in terms of military technology. China is just getting to the point where they have aircraft carriers and their space agency crashes hypergolic fueled rockets onto villages all the time. They aren't operating insanely advanced flying objects.
