Mandating Vaccines: Why NOT start with Medicaid Recipients??

Obviously I’m not in favor of doing any mandates but it would at least be a legitimate authoritarian tactic bc the FedGov is literally responsible for footing the bill associated with their healthcare.
FedGov is responsible for the health of Medicaid folks so it would be reasonable for the FedGov to mandate vaccination. It would be very similar to a parent being responsible for the health care decisions of their minor children.

Also since the current administration thinks allowing asylum for migrants from SA is so important and also how important vaccines are to combating Covid, why not inject every one of them with the vaccine when they appear in their custody???

So? Just highlights the most predominant group on the government teat. They could just renounce Medicaid if they opt not to get the vaccine.

That is why I don’t think it will ever be mandated.
It will be the inverse of why minorities are still wearing masks.
Although, they are so drunk on power and stupidity, they might try it. Part of me hopes they do.
Then all it takes is a few black pastors to turn on them.

It's only a political issue because it's been exploited. And truth be told I wouldn't call it a race issue. It's much more a culture issue.

Not even close per capita. Blacks are 3-4x Whites, and Hispanics are a little over 2x Whites. Native Americans rival blacks for welfare. Asians outpace Whites but that is mostly Pacific Islanders.

Whites

I never said per capita. The fact is if you mandate the vaccine to people on Medicaid it affects more whites than any other race.

Why? I’m not having a debate about crime. I’m having the debate that if the FedGov wants to mandate the vaccine then why don’t they start with the folks that they are directly responsible for their healthcare costs?
