Maine Democrat Nirav Shah said Tuesday he is weighing a Senate bid in the wake of a new allegation of sexual assault made against Democratic nominee Graham Platner, who is taking some time to reevaluate his campaign.
The former state public health chief previously ran in Maine’s gubernatorial race this year, coming up short in the Democratic primary.

“In the past 24 hours, my team and I have received hundreds of encouraging messages, as Graham Platner has signaled he will withdraw from Maine’s US Senate race,” Shah wrote in a social media post.

Oh, only entering after the ‘new’ allegation?

Nirav Shah is a Senate candidate Maine can get behind | Letter
We need a U.S. Senate candidate we don’t have to hold our noses to vote for.
This came out in the Portland Post Herald today. It’s behind a paywall, but the talking points went out quickly.

Now this is some bullshite. Didn't they already have their primary? Sounds to me like Collins wins by default if Platner drops out.

So out with a military Nazi and in with a Covid Nazi.
This is the guy who ran the Maine CDC during the pandemic, shut down schools and businesses and gatherings and mandated masks, including outside.
Then he joined Rochelle Walensky, the worst CDC director in history, as her chief deputy at CDC HQ in Atlanta.
He may actually be worse than the first Nazi.

This one is not a good example. They have pre-existing rules that apparently give them until July 13 to replace the nominee.

Just like old Joey Autopen.
The Presidential photo of the autopen was an all-time classic troll.
