Not only do I have too much pride (unlike Roger) to take a handout, but I refuse to give the Gov any reason to ask to see my financials more so than they already do and PPP loans opened a lot of people to future audits that may cost them more in the future. I am not an idiot nor greedy enough to take the short-term payout at the expense of the long-term potential downside.
My business took a hit during CV so we shifted to survive vs taking a handout. I never fired anyone either to make it. I personally took a hit instead and made less money for a few years. Not a big deal.

Trump did perfectly well, even great, on Foreign Policy, the Economy, and Immigration. Definitely not nothing.
He definitely wasn't perfect but it does seem like he has learned some lessons judging from the rumors of his cabinet appointments.
