1988 interview with Oprah

1980 interview

Trump is a true believer. He's been a Buchanan-esque republican for a long time. That populist/industrialist hybrid streak in him isn't really a facade.

How did an Indiana boy like Dave turn into such a flaming heart pussy liberal?

I remember Trump being asked in an interview in the 80's if he would ever run for POTUS or want to be the POTUS and he said something to the effect paraphrased, "I really have no interest in being POTUS but if the country needed strong leadership I would consider running". How prophetic.

He's been pretty consistent with the notion that America is getting ripped off by unfair trade and bad trade agreements.

Shut up supercuck, he was referring to a time when male Democrats still had relatively normal T levels, not the low T Progs and feminazis who run the party now.

You can thank Roger Stone. This was around the time he was planting the idea in his head. We are living in Roger Stone’s country, whether we like it or not. He’s the real life Littlefinger.

That's actually really disturbing.

I voted for Trump, but Roger Stone is creepy as hell. He's the one guy with loose ties to Trump that probably does have connections to shady characters all over the world.

Leyltterman is a “flaming liberal” only when compared to this board. But most Americans would be in that comparison.

This place is far from normal, believe me.

Two contributing factors, obviously low T and he also wanted to keep his gig. There are so many sell outs in Hollywood and the entertainment business, if the political environment was middle to slightly middle right they would all be like Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, who were equal opportunity offenders and kept most of their political beliefs to themselves.

It’s disturbing but true. He’s at least partially and more fully in some cases of at least 5 (if not 6) of our Presidents being in office. Really every President since Ford he’s been partially responsible simply due to his previous actions.

If the Russian narrative is even partially true, there’s no doubt who the guy behind it is: Roger Stone. In the Mueller investigation, he will almost certainly be the last one called to testify, even after Trump. I’d be terrified to be under Roger Stone’s bad side since I think he is at least as filthy (if not worse) than the Clintons. I’d have no problem believing he’s had someone assassinated who crossed him.

And if to bring my point home on how he’s the real life Littlefinger, I was comparing Scott Israel for days to Janos Slynt from Game of Thrones. And who does Scott Israel actually work for? Of course a corrupt scumbag like him works for and answers to Littlefinger: 2014 article on their connection.

Jeffrey Toobin, equally in a state of awe, fear, and confusion described Roger Stone (appropriately) as the following: He is this malevolent Forrest Gump. Whenever something dark and sinister is happening in our politics, Roger is inevitably lurking in the shadows

You post that like you have no idea who he is or anything about him. Dave is a huge liberal. It just doesn't seem like it by how tame his show was compared to the how the late night shows trash Trump now.

VOR's a socialist who tells himself he's a "middle of the road" moderate open minded independent.

Stone and Manafort were partners at one point, Stone is a big reason Manafort was put on the Trump campaign team.

The Netflix doc on Stone was both fascinating and disturbing. I enjoy watching Roger be a dick to everyone but I would not trust him any farther than I could throw him.
