They don’t know they are in a cult. One of them literally just said don’t listen to anyone else but Trump or the people he reposts lol.
If you critically think or criticize positions the two rebuttals are:
1) You are a liberal
2) Trump is better than liberals
And while option 2 is admissible in almost any election, you could also simply replace Trump with any Republican that will run on America First principles.
Intelligent people simply don’t just blindly follow. They question. QUESTION ALOT. And if it passes muster we keep moving forward.
A lot of things that were promised and have come up recently still don’t pass the smell test. So we point out and wait.
The problem is, midterms is not that far away and folks keep seal clapping we have three more years…Well if we lose congress you have zero more years.

This MAGA stuff will exhaust itself after the mid terms. Even if by some miracle, Trump hold onto congress, the focus will quickly shift to the next election and those candidates. Maybe Trump will call them names, maybe not. And there is no way in the next set of republican primaries a candidate will run as MAGA with the fervor that Trump did. So this MAGA stuff is going away. And the cultist here will have no central figure championing their cause.

Immigration is a definite improvement as far as the southern border is concerned, but it feels very temporary, which is not Trump's fault.
War, I'm concerned about. Trump is beating the conflict drum much harder than I expected and this bullshite has to stop. We cannot sustain our economy on war and debt. It's evil and it can't sustain.
MAGA has always been fragile and largely in the hands of voters. Populist movements are always this way. As long as lobbying dominates our political system, a true populist sentiment gaining real power will be difficult if not impossible, but Trump has gone father down this road than anyone since maybe Teddy Roosevelt. We can hope something of it can hang on when he's gone.
