Hubba, there is no credible link, as it never happened. There are dozens of "links" out there, but none are from news-based sources. They are all simply passing along a story, as this thread has done.

It's another internet e-mail hoax that I had seen 20 times before this thread was started. Some versions have the speech dated February of 2013, while others have it dated August, 2013.

There are no news reports of this having occurred.

As an aside, it's my understanding the Prime Minister addresses the Duma annually, while the President addresses the combined Federal Assembly only every December in the Russian version of the State of the Union Address. The e-mails have Putin addressing only the Duma in February or August in this "speech".

No they don't.

The countries he listed are are better shape than Russia is.

Pretty sure Russia is the only country that doesn't cater to the whims of the immigrants.

Russia obviously has their own issues to deal with, but you have to give them props for standing by their country and not cowering to special interests like we do.

That's a great point. It's easy to brag about your tough immigration policy when your country is as fricked up as Russia. The same logic can be used by Afghans, Somalis and North Koreans to brag about their tough immigration policies.
