This is better entertainment than the NFL was this season (save the superbowl).

Can Bernie and Cruz debate once a week on different topics?

Not for lack of opportunity for upward mobility-- more self made first generation millionaires than in any country in the world. Sorry you hate freedom of equal opportunity.

The problem with the pharmaceutical companies is that the US funds all their research and development. Then they roll out cheap prescriptions over seas while the US consumer gets fricked. We need to negotiate lower rates so the RD is spread out all over the world.

Agreed to an extent. Plenty of other countries and foreign pharm companies do research though. But I agree with your overall point.

But the way you do that is through Medicare negotiation. And Ted Cruz is not about that life.

We as the largest consumer of pharmaceuticals should in normal economic theory afford ourselves the best wholesale discount. Except the opposite is true. We consume more but pay more. Specifically because we do not do the one thing every other industrialized country does, which is provide a mechanism for country-wide bargaining of drug pricing.

Bernie Sanders Once Kicked Out Of A Hippie Commune For Not Working

Sen. Bernie Sanders was once so work-shy, he got kicked out of a hippie commune in 1971 for avoiding duties and distracting residents.

"Endless political discussion,” and a distaste for work allegedly resulted in Sanders being asked to leave the commune, according to a report from The Washington Free Beacon.

"Daloz writes that one resident, Craig, ‘resented feeling like he had to pull others out of Bernie’s orbit if any work was going to get accomplished that day,'” reports The Washington Free Beacon.

This is a fact.

Another fact is we should pass out cigarettes to everyone. It decreases their life expectancy by over 5 years. That frees up Social Security money and medicare since the people die younger.
Saves us money
Or maybe just put people to death when they reach 75. Sort of like a end of life abortion since they are an inconvenience to their kids

It's weird that nothing in your link said anything about diabetes. Maybe you shouldn't have said diabetes in your post.

People who die fast will be less of a cost to the system. We should encourage more reckless and imprudent drivers to lower healthcare costs.
