Does anyone else remember this scandal involving Joe Biden?
I remember it back in the 80's, it's hard to believe (not really) that the press has forgotten about it.
At least back then the MSM made a pretense of impartiality.

I was tired of Joe Biden, he’d been elected too long
Just like Nancy Pelosi, he’s always wrong
While he babbled on TV, I read the paper in bed
And in the political columns, there was this letter I read
"If you like Lysol Coladas, and going soft in the brain
If you're not into health care, and your son does cocaine
If you like making love against your will, aw hell, it’s rape
I'm the Dem that you've looked for, vote for me, and escape"
I didn't think about The Donald, orange man mean
Me and my old lady, don’t want to hear about Covid 19
So I wrote to the paper, took out a personal ad
Though I'm no Anthony Weiner, I thought it wasn't half bad
"Yes, I like Lysol Coladas, and going soft in the brain
I'm not much into health care, I am into Ukraine
I've got to vote for you by November soon, and the Russians can’t wait
At the convention in Milwaukee, you'll plan our escape"
So I waited with high hopes, then he walked on the stage
I knew his smile in an instant, it was the perv of the race
It was Sleepy Joe Biden, I said “shite, it's you"
And I laughed for a moment, and said, "I think we’re screwed"
"I like Lysol Coladas, crying racist's my game
I take drugs for dementia, so I’m in no pain.
I might be worse than Hillary, talking Corn Pop on tape
I’ll be behind you sniffing hair, and you’ll want to escape"

I read a piece once that claimed Biden simply repeats what he’s given. An advisor gives him a script, and he repeats it.
The suggestion was that Biden was stupid, but also profoundly incurious.
Given how rich his family is, I assume his prime motivations are power and money.
