Lt. Col. Ralph Peters Says He's 'Ashamed' Of Fox News

Retired Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a longtime analyst for Fox News, told colleagues he is done with the network he says has become "a propaganda machine" for President Donald Trump.
He said the 21st Century Fox-owned cable channel has gone from being a valuable conservative voice to "assaulting our constitutional order and the rule of law, while fostering corrosive and unjustified paranoia among viewers."
Peters' comments directly targeted the network's opinions hosts-which include Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham-for their consistent attacks on special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's investigation into Russia's interference with the 2016 presidential election. Mueller is also looking into whether Trump obstructed justice when he fired James B. Comey from his post as FBI director.
"When prime-time hosts-who have never served our country in any capacity-dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on the FBI, the Justice Department, the courts, the intelligence community (in which I served) and, not least, a model public servant and genuine war hero such as Robert Mueller-all the while scaremongering with lurid warnings of 'deep-state' machinations-I cannot be part of the same organization, even at a remove," Peters wrote. "To me, Fox News is now wittingly harming our system of government for profit."
Lt. Col Ralph "Deep State" Peters thinks Muller is a war hero? Claims the Fox news hosts have dismissed facts? What facts? We have been waiting for the Russia/Trump collusion facts, but your buddy Muller has none; however, there are plenty of Deep Sate collusion facts to cover up HRCs crimes, plus other Deep State personnel crimes. Why hasn't hero Bob investigated McCabe, Struck, the FISA judge, etc?

I watch Fox News and I don't know who this guy is. I have a feeling he will show up on the Clown News Network soon.

They can go work at One America News. They can stay on radio. Hell, they could write a blog. Or they could just tweet their opinions. Plenty of options out there.

Actually, he served as a marine lieutenant platoon leader in the same area of operations I was in in Vietnam, probably 6 months before me. Around 1968 or 1969 in the hairiest area near the DMZ in Quang Tri Province. He got a Bronze Star w/V (for Valor for you nerds) and was shot (Purple Heart). Now, none of that means he is now a half century later somehow beyond reproach, but it does mean he served his country in wartime unlike some who avoided service. Oh, and he volunteered. From Princeton.

These are the only journalists saying the truth. Muller has found nothing. A person if a high degree of honesty and integrity would have shut down this SC once he found out the dossier was fake.
Each day he continues is another day the tax payers money is wasted. Muller knows there is no evidence because Trump/Russia collusion did not happen.
Col. Ralph needs to go elsewhere if he can't see thru Muller.

Thanks to you and Muller for your service. Too bad he is now corrupted beyond repair. I have high expectations for honesty among those in the military. When they get as corrupt as Dishonest Bob, it is very disappointing. An honest military man would not spend another penny of tax payer dollars once they realized the dossier was a complete sham. An honest military man would have closed shop and stayed as far away as possible from the outrageous lie of Trump/Russia collusion.
How much time does one need before they say we have nothing. Only a person that is dishonest and has no integrity would still be "hunting" for "evidence".

It took the FBI some 3 years to 'expose' college basketball NCAA violations which was the worst kept secret of all time.
I'm going to say that 10 months probably isn't enough time to complete a correct & thorough investigation and clear multiple people of something as complex as foreign state collusion

Djmicrobe: We’ll see about Mueller. It could very well be that he has let this string out for what is known as “a decent interval” and then will slam the door and do a nothing to see here. Move on. Closer in time to the midterm election cycle to the detriment of the Democrats (because he KNOWS what Obama and Hillary did).

Why would they want to work for another network and be forced to cover the number of ice cream scoops the President gets, how many diet cokes he drinks, or his tax returns that show he paid much more than liberal heroes? Do you really think they couldn't find a job at any of 1300 daily newspapers or the 2200 broadcasting stations in the US? Can a person really be this ignorant?

BTW...you ARE aware that news personnel change networks constantly, right? Hell, Alisyn Camerota of CNN's New Day was a longtime anchor on FOX. Also, the aforementioned Tucker Carlson had shows on MSNBC and CNN before coming to FOX.
Next time, try to avoid posting when you've been ingesting the Tide pods ok?
