You might wanna wake up from your stoner slumber. It’s 2020 weed is legal, we had a black president for 8 years and we have a foreign enemy that has taken over one of our two major political parties. Guess which one?

Uh yea it is in 33 states. You can even mail it across state lines with impunity. Seriously you can’t be this ignorant then come here and critique others, it makes you look ridiculous. The fact that you can’t tell the second part was a joke just proves my entire point. You people live like terrorist socially, the more I interact with your kind the more clear it becomes why you can’t discern information properly.

That’s the thing. There are 50 states. I live in one where weed is definitely not legal.

Well I’m sorry your ideology... I mean religion trumps reality. Oppressing your own mind really is the heart of this whole problem so thanks for giving us a clear example of it.

You’re goddamn right I want to use “illegal drugs” and not have to worry about the police - so you at least got that right.

Thank you for being honest. We will forever know on TD that "lsu2006" is a criminal and a druggie. Maybe law enforcement could get your info from TD and execute a search warrant of your crack house.

his is where this becomes all political. The left always believes never let a catastrophe go to waste. More government. More redistribution of wealth. That is the goal. Not the well being of black people. Other than a voting base the democrats don't give a flying F about black people.

Regardless of side of the aisle, socioeconomic status of black people has not increased much on a relative scale say to white ppl since the end of slavery. Do ppl think African Americans were granted millions of acres of land and money to start their own lives after slavery ended??

The disparity between opportunity/education is grossly disproportionate than that to white ppl: black on black crime is merely a socioeconomic result from being plagued for hundreds of years that was spearheaded by the US government. These are facts.

This really isn’t even that hard to understand.. even if you’re not racist you’re ignorance comes off as “part of the problem”

The fact that I come from a single mother household, who only made 13k a year and I did not have shite when I was growing up says it is what you put into it not what color you are.

I started working when I was 14 and had as many as 3 jobs during the summer before my SR year.

No one gave me a damn thing to go to college because I was not black. I was flat out told that.

Saved my money owned 2 businesses and still worked for a global company for 30 years at the same time.

Anyone can have success, but this is a country of opportunity no one is going to give you anything.

What did Joe B say I expected all of this success because I knew we put in the work. It is the same way with life.

This has no place being pushed by a public university.
The Rant doesn't want this part of the problem discussed as they have already deleted two of my threads trying to address this. LSU had no right to bring Tiger Stadium into this mess. The University owes it's entire fan base an apology for doing so. That stadium's legacy is one that has been built on the backs of players and fans from ALL backgrounds. For any ONE background to claim ownership and use it politically, especially during an election year, is wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. That place is held dear by too many fans to be used in that manner. The University is publicly funded and should never be perceived as taking a partisan position of any kind by it's players or fans, especially during an election year.

Did you miss this in the post?

No. Your "post" in no way answers the question.

My post asked a simple question of the person I responded to, which was not you.

quote:

quote:

black men face a one in 1,000 risk of being killed during an encounter with police, a rate much higher than that of white men.

That's because blacks commit violent crimes at a higher rate than whites. Please review "victim data."
q

Provide a link to said victim data. Though I do know that is a correct to my understanding because I have looked at data in the past. That was not the question being asked, however. it was simply police encounters that was mentioned.

quote:

quote:

Black men and boys face the highest risk of being killed by police–at a rate of 96 out of 100,000 deaths. By comparison, white men and boys face a lower rate of 39 per 100,000 deaths, despite being a bigger portion of the U.S. population.

Again, your dishonesty is in full view. Blacks commit violent crime at higher rates than whites. See the "victim data" statistics to fully understand. You have probably seen these statistics and are choosing to ignore them. You are dishonest.

Explain how I am being dishonest? Are you not being intellectually dishonest by conflating violent crime statistics and police encounter statistics? Without providing data I might add.

I was simply answering the the question regarding police encounter data which the person he was responding to seemed to provide in my estimation. If you wish to rebut by providing data that could help modify the conclusion the poster had provided, by all means do so with you conclusions.

Ok good for you man. What kind of education did you get? What kind of neighborhood did you grow up in? These all are socioeconomic factors you did not address or either don’t care enough to bc it doesn’t affect you.

I will tell you the same thing I tell my kids. My wife and I have money because we earned it. My kids are poor as dirt.

My mother drove a school bus.

All the work Joe put in has nothing to do with how much money his father earned.

Blaming someone else for what YOU!!! did or did not do is not going to get you anywhere.

This is the best country in the world. All anyone needs is the drive to go get it.

One of my businesses was a franchise, it was loaded with owners that have the last name, Patel.

They would come here with nothing, but through hard work, they owned their own business. Heavy Indian accent, hard to understand but would work 7 days a week and be successful.

I would get up at 3 work till 830. Go to my second job at 11. Work till finished between 8 and 10. My second job was a minimum wage of 3.35.

Rural town. Farmers and oilfield workers. Hard-working people. My elementary school had 1 black student.

When I got to JR high student population was about %50 black.
