Who dat, roll tide and war eagle do not equate to “hi 1st graders I’m Mr Davis and I’m gay.”
Not to mention “helping” children to discover they are non-binary or whatever other nonsense they want to bring to the class that day.
STFU and teach.

But come on…8th grade? And no conversation on personal sexual orientation by any school employee or teacher with students through 12th grade??
That’s a dumb bill -

Why does there need to be a conversation about sexual orientation?
You are a woke pussy.

I’m not woke …but it’ll be complicated AF …reads like any conversation is prohibited-even if the person is straight- so all personnel have to use gender neutral pronouns to identify their spouses? Can’t even use their names unless gender neutral?
That law wasn’t well thought out- there are reasons why the Florida law limited it to 3rd grade. The bill sponsor listened to all stakeholders and made common sense changes

What three republicans ? They gotta go , and need to be voted out .

Yeah they should have copied and pasted the Florida bill. In typical idiotic fashion, Louisiana has a poorly written bill. Apparently even if a female teacher, for example, mentioned her “husband,” she could face repercussions. Poorly written. Should’ve taken Florida’s same bill. Stupid.

That was my point…I’d be almost agreeable if it was limited to 3rd grade bc reality, 100% of teaching moments should be the 3 Rs in 3rd grade and lower…. But 12th graders??? Ummm whhuuut??? So many relationship building conversations would run afoul of the law? That’s dumb
